Cruise Servo

The first step for repairing the cruise control servo requires removing the intake air resonator. The service begins with disconnecting the actuating cable from the throttle body cam and removing the throttle cable from the throttle bracket through cable removal from its retaining clip. First detach the speed control cable at the spark plug cover then disconnect the actuator electrical connector. First detach the actuator retaining bolt then remove the actuator from its position. Use clockwise rotation to detach the actuator cable cap after bending the locking clip down and keeping it in position. To complete the cable removal process from the actuator pulley unscrew the cable locking spring then push the cable end through the pulley slot. Installation should follow the opposite steps to removal.
