Thorough inspection of the spark plugs should be performed after removal. Always tighten the spark plugs to 18 Nm (13 lb-ft) when reinstallation takes place. To install spark plugs properly into gasoline engines, users must set the gap between 1.32-1.42 mm (0.052-0.056 in) while flexible fuel engines require 1.04-1.19 mm (0.041-0.047 in). Finish the installation step by doing the reverse order of removal operations.
