Turn Signal Switch

Start wiper switch servicing by taking out the lock cylinder from the ignition switch. Simple instructions require you to position the ignition key inside the lock cylinder before rotating it to the RUN position. A punch should push the ignition switch lock cylinder release tab followed by removal of the ignition switch lock cylinder. The first step requires twisting the tilt wheel handle along with the shank for removal. Proceed with removing the upper and lower steering column shrouds after extracting their screws. Start by taking out the multifunction switch after disconnecting its electrical connectors and unscrewing it and finally removing the switch itself. The installation of the new multifunction switch requires following the opposite steps of removal.

You should start repairing the turn signal switch by putting the ignition key into the lock cylinder port then setting it to RUN. The ignition switch lock cylinder needs to be removed through a punch-operated tab release followed by pulling out the lock cylinder. Turn the tilt wheel handle and shank when they can be removed from the assembly. The first step requires you to remove upper and lower shrouds from the steering column through screw removal. The installation starts with unscrewing the multifunction switch along with connector detachment until complete removal of the switch takes place. The installation process ends with the opposite maneuvers used for removing all components.
