    Q:
How to Service and Repair a Motor and Transmission Mount for the LH Transaxle Support Insulator on Mercury Mariner? Posted by Customer
    A:
Service work on the LH transaxle support insulator begins only after setting the vehicle to NEUTRAL gear and hoisting it off the ground. The first step requires air cleaner removal before using the Engine Support Bar to suspend the engine. The LH transaxle support insulator requires four bolts removal which should be tightened to 35 lb-ft when installation is complete. You should tighten both the through bolt and LH transaxle support insulator to 103 Nm (76 lb-ft) after removing them. As the last step remove the three nuts from the LH transaxle support insulator bracket before tightening each one to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft). Perform the opposite operations to finish your installation procedure.
