- Q: How Is the Auxiliary Evaporator Core Serviced and Repaired on 2007 Ford Expedition?A: Auxiliary evaporator core is serviced as an assembly with the heater core and housing for EL and L models, individually on Expedition and Navigator. If a leak is suspected, perform vacuum test. Remove heater core/housing or TXV fitting, access cover screws, drain tube and evaporator core, then reverse with new O-rings.
- Q: How to Service the A/C Hose from Compressor to Condenser Discharge Line on 2007 Ford Expedition?A: Recover refrigerant. Remove compressor discharge fitting nut, disconnect the fitting, discard O-ring and gasket seals, tighten new fitting. Remove condenser inlet jumper fitting similarly. If so, remove RH headlamp, disconnect A/C pressure transducer, remove condenser inlet fitting bolt, discard seals, reinstall reverse, fit new seals, and lubricate with PAG oil.
