How to service the EGR valve on 2000 Ford Expedition?

To service the EGR valve, remove the bolts of engine appearance cover, dislocate the EGR valve vacuum hose, and take away the EGR valve. Wipe the sealing surfaces, apply a new gasket and fasten the EGR valve. Install the upper fitting back, install the brake booster bracket and install the engine cover.
