2000 Ford F-150 Blend Door Actuator Parts Q&A

  • Q: How to Service and Repair the Panel/Floor Blend Door Actuator on 2000 Ford F-150?
A: Begin service and repair of the panel/floor door vacuum control motor by removing the floor duct panel after taking out pushpins while releasing the expander clip. Start by removing the right-hand instrument panel brace through the process of unbolted nut and bolt followed by brace detachment. After removing the left-hand instrument panel lower nut customers need to place it aside while taking out the three bolts to set the module off to the side. First remove the duct by taking out the two screws located on each side. The necessary procedure to remove the panel/floor door vacuum control motor involves disconnecting the vacuum line connector followed by screw removal to extract the motor rod from its door placement. Rotating the vacuum control motor is necessary to free the rod from both the panel/floor door. Follow the opposite steps of removal to install the unit.
