The LH temperature blend door actuator makes up part of the dual-zone Electronic Automatic Temperature Control systems yet EMTC vehicles do not include this component. The first step to service the actuator requires removal of both heater core and evaporator core housing. First loosen and then remove the four screws that anchor the floor duct after which you should detach the duct. Drain the fluid from the LH temperature blend door actuator by disconnecting its electrical connector followed by unfastening the attached screws and extracting the actuator. When replacing the new actuator you should follow procedures in reverse order of installation steps.
