In case of service and repairing EGR valve, it is necessary to remove the vacuum hose and EGR tube of the valve first. Then take out the EGR valve leaving behind the bolts and the valve. Fold the old gasket and wipe off sealing surfaces. Installation Reverse the uninstall process and install a new gasket.
