How to Service and Repair the A/C Switch in the Control Assembly with Electronic Automatic Temperature Control on 2000 Lincoln Navigator?

The first step to service or repair the control assembly with electronic automatic temperature control is to disconnect the battery ground cable. You must carefully free the four clips along the four edges of the center instrument panel finish panel. The 4WD control switch connector needs disconnecting from vehicles with this feature. First disconnect the electronics from the climate control head through the screws until it can be removed entirely. The climate control head requires disconnecting through the removal of its electrical connector together with the vacuum line connector. The reverse steps should be followed for installation.
