Keeping the wood block aside discard both the piston assemblys and dust boots. Honing the caliper cylinder bores is unnecessary because only new front brake calipers should be used when the bores become damaged. New piston seals together with new dust boots must be used during assembly to protect the vehicle and fresh brake fluid needs to be employed throughout the assembly and bleeding procedures. Apply High Performance DOT 3 Motor Vehicle Brake Fluid C6AZ-19542-AB or equivalent to the piston dust boot and seal and caliper piston and cylinder bore following Ford specification ESA-M6C25-A. Put the products in place while being mindful of causing any damage. Use a steady pressure to push the caliper piston inside the bore until it reaches the proper position without coil formation then mount the disc brake caliper.
