  A: Start servicing the HVAC accumulator by draining and recovering refrigerant substances. Replacement of the suction accumulator/drier requires evidence from failed A/C compressor damage or present damage to the existing unit. The service needs battery tray and battery removal requires proper screw unfastening. Started by disconnecting both the evaporator discharge line and the compressor suction line yet using wrenches with fittings to prevent damage. Disconnect the A/C cycling switch electrical connector followed by removing the suction accumulator/drier through separation of its screw.
