How to service and repair the Idle Control Valve on 2001 Ford Excursion?

In order to service the Idle Control Valve, unscrew the battery ground cable, then the electrical connector and throttle bypass hose. Take out the two locking bolts and the valve. Installation requires screwing the bolts in two phases, rejoining the hoses and the electrical connector, and rejoining the battery.
