The service process for the thermostat starts with draining part of the cooling system fluid. Detach the upper radiator hose while removing the water outlet connection through bolt removal. You should discard the O-ring seal once you remove the water thermostat along with the O-ring seal from your device. The installation of water thermostat in upper intake manifold requires a fresh O-ring seal which must be correctly positioned before proper installation. The upper intake manifold receives reinstallation of the water outlet connection by bolting it then reconnecting the upper radiator hose lastly completing the cooling system fill.
