    A: The first step to service the radiator on a pickup chassis with 7.3L diesel engine and manual transmission is to remove its oil cooler tubes from the radiator. Start by removing the fan blade together with the clutch and shroud before hoisting the vehicle. First detach both the degas supply hose and lower radiator hose from the radiator before lowering the vehicle. Proceed by removing the upper hose from the radiator and after that use the two pin-type retainers to relocate the radiator sight shield until it stays out of the way. The right upper radiator support holding bolts need removal before removing the insulator itself. First disconnect the vent hose from the radiator before removing bolts that allow the left side radiator support with its insulator to be extracted. The radiator and its lower insulators should be removed from either the frame extension or radiator. Follow the opposite order of steps to replace the new radiator.
