The first step includes taking off both the upper radiator sight shield along with the air cleaner outlet tube. The service procedure requires removal of the upper radiator hose after you uninstall all six bolts that secure the two radiator upper support brackets. Place the receiver drier to the side while removing its bolt then disconnect both electrical connections of the dual flow coolant valve and the A/C line running to the fan shroud. The TP sensor and IAC valve electrical connectors must be disconnected first before disconnecting the bracket with its bolts for engines using 3.0L. The electric water pump should be set aside after removing the bolt from 3.9L engines. Remove the high-pressure cooling fan bracket and line for inspection before performing replacement of the necessary components. Start the cooling fan return hose disconnection from fan shroud then remove the hose from fan shroud before putting everything aside. The installation begins by releasing two bolts which detach the fan shroud assembly then the A/C condenser before unclipping the lower radiator hose.
