Then separate the evaporator from compressor suction line at the suction accumulator/drier by following spring lock coupling procedures. The process of suction accumulator/drier separation from the evaporator core requires backing up the wrench because it protects the fitting as well as the tube from damage. The service starts with unfastening the screw which holds the A/C accumulator mounting bracket in place on the A/C evaporator core before removing the suction accumulator/drier. Unlock the insulation cover of the suction accumulator/drier before removing its mounting bracket from the device.
