The next step is to unbolt and detach the rear parking brake cable bracket followed by removal of the right-hand (RH) side of the rear parking brake cable. Release the RH side rear parking brake cable at both its front parking brake connection and its body-mounted support bracket. Proceed to detach the left-hand (LH) rear parking brake cable both from the fuel tank support strap and from the front parking brake cable. The LH rear parking brake cable removal entails two points of action: first detach its bolts then disconnect it from the body-mounted parking brake cable support bracket. The new cables need installation by executing the removal steps in reverse order.
