Before working on the LH rear parking brake cable and conduit operators must fully press the parking brake control to relieve system tension. Insert a proper retention method after pulling the front parking brake cable together with its conduit. You must switch off the air suspension control in the right-hand kick panel section before vehicle hoisting or lifting because unexpected air springs could shift the vehicle's position. The technician should lift the vehicle before isolating the RH parking brake rear cable and conduit from the LH parking brake rear cable and conduit at their parking brake cable equalizer. Remove the LH parking brake rear cable and conduit from the parking brake cable bracket by compressing the parking brake cable clip while unscrewing the fastener. Through retainer compression one can release the parking brake rear cable and conduit from the rear disc brake caliper anchor plate. Then unclip the parking brake rear cable and conduit from the parking brake lever. The installation process requires following the exact reverse steps of the removal process.
