In order to replace rear left parking brake cable, de-tension, lift the vehicle and disconnect the left rear cable to the equalizer and the retaining clip. Make sure that the parking brake cable retainer spring is properly routed and installed. Lastly, remove the steps of removal in order to install the new cable.
