The windshield washer reservoir servicing procedure starts by detaching the windshield washer hose from the pump. Empty fluid from the washer reservoir before removing it to stop fluid leaks. Service professionals first disconnect the coolant overflow hose from the engine coolant overflow reservoir before plugging the outlet port of the reservoir. Remove the electrical connector from the windshield washer reservoir pump before setting the air filter housing to the side. Access the windshield washer reservoir by removing two screws with two nuts before taking out the reservoir. Dismantle the washer pump with extreme caution from the washer reservoir while maintaining integrity of both rubber grommet and component. The windshield washer reservoir and washer pump need separate installation from their removal sequence.
