Labeling and MSDS To service windshield washer reservoir and pump on 3.0L and 4.0L SOHC engines, refer to product label. Empty the reservoir, de-connect hoses and electrical connector of the pump as well as air cleaner. Take away the reservoir and the pump and follow the same process in installing them.

How to service the windshield washer reservoir on Ford Ranger?

To drain the windshield washer reservoir to prevent spills. Dislodge the washer hose and coolant overflow hose, remove the electrical connector of the pump. Take out the reservoir by unscrewing it, but do not lose the rubber grommet. Reinstallation they are serviced as they are removed in reverse.
