In case of failed evaporator core repair, a leak test is required. Extract refrigerant, take out the instrument panel and disassemble the parts that are required. Disconnect hoses and couplings, and pull the evaporator core housing and heater out. To install, reverse the procedure, lubricate the hoses and seals and re-charge the refrigerant system.
