Service to the blower motor needs to start by detaching the instrument panel insulator by removing pushpins and disconnecting the courtesy lamp. Begin by taking off the scuff plate next to the passenger side and then remove the instrument panel upper finish panel after disconnecting the A/C sunload sensor wire harness connector. The right-hand panel and center panel should have their screws removed from the dash panel before accessing and disconnecting the wire harness connector and right-hand instrument panel-to-cowl retaining nut. There is a removal step to pull back the instrument panel after unscrewing it to extract the fan motor. Installations should follow the steps executed during removal as direct opposites.
