The first step requires removal of the air cleaner outlet tube followed by disconnecting the engine vent hose and detaching the upper radiator hose. Start by cutting the heater supply hose together with the water pump hose and lower radiator hose from the thermostat housing. First remove the water crossover assembly after which you should disconnect the water inlet hose from both the coolant outlet pipe and the pump. Additionally you must disconnect the heater water hose that connects to the water pump. Start by taking out the belt idler pulley together with its bracket then unclip the wiring harness and remove both stud bolts and the bolt to finish taking out the bracket. You should remove both the bolt and studs to extract the water pump assembly. The installation process should follow the exact opposite steps of removal.
