Service of the 5.4L intake manifold begins with disconnecting the fuel hose spring lock couplings and the draining of the cooling system. Remove the four bolts from the engine air cleaner (ACL) before loosening its clamp and moving the device to reach the mass airflow (MAF) sensor electrical connector.
