The first step requires users to separate the mass air flow (MAF) sensor electrical connector then remove the wire harness from the air cleaner box stud. Open the clamp before taking off the air cleaner outlet tube along with the air cleaner box cover by sliding loose the air cleaner box clamps. The service includes removing both air cleaner outlet tubes from the throttle body and the air cleaner box outlet cover's separation from the air cleaner box. Take off the PCV hose from the PCV valve after separating the air cleaner outlet tube and air cleaner box cover assembly. To finish the maintenance work you need to turn the PCV valve by 180 degrees before pulling it out from the oil separator. Perform installation tasks by using the opposite steps of removal procedures.
