The first step involves disconnecting the battery ground cable and following it with upper intake manifold removal. Disconnection of the spring lock coupling on the fuel line should be followed by carefully setting the wiring harness to the side. The right-hand fuel injector electrical connectors need disconnecting while the harness requires moving away from the right-hand fuel supply manifold stud bolt. First disconnect the fuel pressure sensor vacuum hose together with the electrical connector before moving the wiring harness aside to disconnect each left-hand fuel injector electrical connector and separate the harness from the left-hand fuel supply manifold stud bolt. Dispose of the four bolts which maintain the fuel supply manifold and take out the fuel injectors if required.
