How to service the coolant reservoir on 2005 Ford Escape?

Start the coolant reservoir servicing operations by hoisting the vehicle into neutral position then draining the cooling system. Retract the radiator-to-degas bottle hose from the degas bottle while taking 2.3L vehicles through disconnecting the corresponding degas bottle-to-coolant bypass housing hose. First tighten the two degas bottle nuts to 6 Nm (53 inch lbs.) and remove them. Using a hoist place the vehicle in neutral position to remove the degas bottle from its place by disconnecting the degas bottle-to-radiator hose. The completion of installation requires following the removal steps in reverse order before performing a cooling system fill and bleed.
