A proper service includes removing the lower shock absorber nut while also taking out its washer and bolt before tightening the hardware to 175 Nm (129 ft. lbs.) in the reconfiguration step. After extracting the shock absorber with its bushing the installation can be finally finalized by doing the procedure in reverse order.
