How to service and repair the coolant reservoir for the Degas Bottle-5.4L and 6.8L on 2005 Ford Excursion?

The first step for servicing or repairing the Degas Bottle-5.4L and 6.8L coolant reservoir involves draining part of the cooling system. Before removing the degas bottle secure it with the bolts you will remove next. Then while holding the clamp you can take away the overflow hose followed by the bottle bolts. Following that press the clamp one more time to separate both the degas bottle supply hose and extract the degas bottle itself. The installation process should follow the same order of steps in the removal process.
