First disconnect the upper radiator hose while removing the coolant outlet connection through bolt removal. Thoroughly remove the coolant thermostat while simultaneously taking out the O-ring seal and dispose of the O-ring seal. A new O-ring seal should be used when the coolant thermostat needs to be installed into the upper intake manifold according to the provided illustration. Replace the coolant outlet connection along with its bolts before you reconnect the upper radiator hose while also filling the cooling system.
