The service process for Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) valve begins with disconnecting the battery ground cable. Begin by unscrewing the PCV valve electrical connector and the quick-connect fitting of the PCV valve tube. When removing the PCV valve a new one must be installed for the replacement. Following counterclockwise rotation you can easily take out the PCV valve so discard it. The service completion requires repeating the steps in reverse order.
