How to Service and Repair the Hood Cable on 2005 Ford F-350 Super Duty?

To fix the hood cable disconnect the battery, release the hood latch and retainers, and set the air deflector aside. Take off the A-pillar trim, PCM and the hood cable guide. Lift the hood cable bracket, loosen the cable and pull it out of the front. Installation is Reverse.
