Begin the brake caliper service by untightening the flow bolt along with two copper washers while disposing of the obsolete washers. Double-check that both the guide pin and locator pin boots sit properly because improper positioning will lead to damage. The guide pin and locator pin need silicone grease application for lubrication following inspection. Brake caliper installation should begin with fitting the bottom locator pin caliper bolt to 35 Nm (26 ft. lbs.) followed by tightening the upper guide pin caliper bolt.
