How to Service and Repair a Heater Core on 2005 Ford Freestar?

To service the heater core, drain the cooling system, move seats rearward, depower the restraint system, remove the wiper motor and garnish mouldings, disconnect heater hoses and lower glove box. Remove steering column panels, console, instrument panel components, ducts and cover, then remove the heater core. Reverse procedure and refill.
