Begin by taking out the LH quarter trim panel followed by disconnecting the auxiliary temperature blend door actuator electrical connector. The service of the auxiliary temperature blend door actuator begins with removing its two securing screws followed by taking out the actuator itself. Next, you need to remove three screws that are present on the auxiliary heater core cover. After positioning heater core tubes over a suitable drain pan to prevent coolant spillage you need to disconnect auxiliary heater core hoses by releasing the clamps. Put the auxiliary heater core back into place through the reverse order of removal while completing system cooling system refilling last. Perform a leak test for the heater core before undertaking removal in case there is a suspected leak.
