Start by removing the inspection cover through pin-type retainer and bolt procedures before unfastening the three transaxle bolts of the oil pan along with seventeen nine-millimeter bolts that detach the oil pan. Wipe off the mating surfaces of the oil pan rear seal before cleaning them with metal surface cleaner. Reapplication of the sealer is necessary when installation of the oil pan exceeds four minutes. Seal the oil pan sealing regions with application of clean material before mounting the fresh rear oil pan seal.
