How to Service and Repair the Wiper Arm on 2005 Ford Freestar?

In order to fix the wiper pivot arm, loosen the wiper arms and remove the washer hose. Unscrew the cowl panel with the bolts and the washer hose grommet. Take out the wiper pivot arms and then replace the cowl panel and the wiper pivot arms, making sure that all connections and bolts are firmly clamped.
