How to Service and Repair a Wiper Switch on the Steering Column on 2005 Ford Mustang?

Service and repair of the windshield washer switch starts by taking out the steering wheel. Afterward, move toward the sides to gently pop out the upper wiper switch shroud. The three lower wiper switch shroud screws need removal after taking out the shroud itself. Detach electrical connectors beginning with four from the lower multifunction switch before moving onto the upper multifunction switch electrical connector. Unscrew the four screws which hold the multifunction switch into place. The installation requires performing the opposite steps from the removal procedure.
