How to service the right exhaust manifold on 2005 Ford Mustang?

Service of the right exhaust manifold starts by placing the car in neutral position and elevating it on a hoist. The catalytic converter must be detached from the exhaust manifold using its two securing nuts before tightening the new nuts to 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.) torque values after installation. The servicing of the right exhaust manifold requires removal of nuts followed by removal of the gasket and right exhaust manifold. Dispose the old gasket. Use a new gasket and install the new right exhaust manifold by following the reverse order of removal and tightening the nuts to 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.).
