To drain the windshield washer reservoir to prevent spills. Dislodge the washer hose and coolant overflow hose, remove the electrical connector of the pump. Take out the reservoir by unscrewing it, but do not lose the rubber grommet. Reinstallation they are serviced as they are removed in reverse.
