The first step requires users to remove the accelerator cable snow shield through pin-type retainer detachment. Remove the spark plugs wire retainer and the wiring harness from the position where it attaches to the intake manifold support. The absence of the upper intake manifold for clearness requires you to drop the fuel charging wiring harness from the valve cover studs before placing it outside the CMP sensor area. Reposition the sensor by removing its electrical connector followed by untightening its screw. When reinstalling the valve cover stud fuel charging wiring harness make sure it is fastened securely in place during the process. The CMP sensor installation procedure is the reverse of its removal steps.
