How to service and repair the Engine Control Module on 2005 Ford Taurus?

To service the Engine Control Module, disconnect the battery ground cable, and unplug the wiper assembly, and the IMRC control valve when 3.0L 2V engines are used. Disconnect PCM connector, take off the gasket and in case of 3.0L 2V, disconnect the vacuum hose of the EGR. Lastly, take out the PCM holding bolts and repeat the process of putting it in.
