The correct torque setting for nuts during new regulator installation should be 12 Nm (9 lb-ft). Any presence of front window motors requires initialization whenever you detach them from regulators or replace motors or install new windows or apply lubricants to the total window operation because new motors continue in proportional position mode until they receive this initialization process. To finish the installation follow the reverse procedure of removal.
