How to service and repair the Steering Shaft on 2005 Lincoln Town Car?

To replace steering column shaft, make sure that steering wheel is straight and ignition key is out. Undo the upper shaft-to- steering column bolt, disassemble the shaft, and take off the bearing nuts. Lastly, loosen the bottom shaft-to-steering gear bolt, take out the shaft and repeat the steps in their reverse order.
