Start the process by removing the upper intermediate shaft-to-steering column bolt followed by discarding it and disconnecting the shaft. Secondly disconnect the shaft by removing the upper intermediate shaft-to-steering column bolt for the second time. Next remove both upper intermediate shaft bearing nuts and discard these upper intermediate shaft-to-steering gear bolt before extracting the shaft. Perform the installation by reversing the ordered steps of removal.
