How to Service and Repair the A/C Switch in the EATC Climate Control Assembly on 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis?

As the first step to fix the Electronic Automatic Temperature Control (EATC) Climate Control Assembly customers need to power down the supplemental restraint system (SRS). The first step requires panel finish removal to disconnect the connector. A series of steps enables the removal of EATC module from the instrument panel by first removing screws followed by EATC module extraction after uninstalling the climate control assembly through vacuum harness disconnected with wire harness disconnectures and nut removal. The reverse order of the uninstallation procedure will finish the installation process.
