The first service step involves wheel removal together with the tire. The front lower control arm procedure starts with removing its bolt then removing both the parking brake cable and the rear anti-lock brake sensor wiring harness if your model has this option. You must detach the lower control arm by taking out the nut, washer, and flag bolt before discarding both the nut and flag bolt. You should disconnect the front lower control arm by removing its nut and flag bolt before separating it from the spindle and adjusting cam. To detach the rear lower control arm, start by removing its nut and flag bolt followed by discarding both components and then removing the part itself. The "BOTTOM" marking on the lower edge indicates that you should position the offset upward during installation of the control arms. The feet on the rear lower control arms need to be oriented toward the front side of the vehicle but the front control arms should have their feet oriented toward the vehicle's rear. After tightening the nut the suspension should be lowered while removing the jack stand. Reconnect the front lower control arm by attaching the rear brake anti-lock sensor wiring harness followed by the parking brake cable and installing a bolt. The last step involves wheel reinstallation while performing a wheel alignment check followed by required adjustments.
