How to service and repair the evaporative emission canister purge valve on 2006 Ford Crown Victoria?

Unconnect the battery ground cable. Disconnect electrical connector of EVAP purge valve and two quick-connect couplings of EVAP tubes. Press the lock tab downward to remove the valve out of the bracket. Installation of the new valve is by reversal. Then do leak test and EVAP repair verification drive cycle.
