    A: Service and maintenance of the front coil spring demands the stabilizer bar removal as the first step. A suitable jack underneath the front axle during the entire maintenance period will help prevent damage to the front brake hose. The shock absorber upper nut needs to be removed temporarily before installation where you should tighten it to 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.). The front spring upper bracket bolt first needs removal followed by disposing of the bracket while installing the new bracket at 30 Nm torque (22 ft.lb torque). Loosen the radius arm-to-axle nut when needed to make spring removal possible. Lower the jack which supports the front axle then take off the front coil spring from its position in the lower retainer. The lower spring retainer requires a suitable spray lubricant before rotating the spring by 180 degrees counter-clockwise and tilting it outward for removal. Before finishing the installation keep the radius arm-to-axle nut secure at 300 Nm (221 ft. lbs.) torque value. The new spring installation requires performing the opposite steps of removal following precise torque specifications for complete part retention.
